STOLID means hard to arouse; not easily excited; showing no emotion; seemingly dull. Examples: a STOLID person, a STOLID animal, his face was STOLID, her hair was STOLID etc. Sorry about my obsession with animals, people and their features in my examples. I couldn't think of many more. But this is definatly a word I can see mysef using. Too bad many of today's societys 16 year olds vocab doesn't extend beyond swear/cus words. They probably wouldn't understand what I was talking about, instead they would simply display a STOLID expression.

Aficionado
A person who is very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about an activity, subject, or pastime. You could say I am an AFICIONADO when it comes to sport and the gym. I love them! Almost addicted - in a good way obviously. Albert Einstein was an AFICIONADO when it came to science and the infamous e=mc^2. In a way, we are all AFICIONADO'S in one way or another, it just depends on the subject, pastime and/or activity.
Rheumy
RHEUMY means being like a watery discharge such as mucus, tears or saliva, or being like a cold. This word is pretty hard to put into a sentence (I think). Any suggestions leave a comment. Unless ... was something like 'she was coughing as a RHEUMY elderly person would'.
Supercilious
Hello! Long-time no blog. Okies.. I am going to try and just get 365 words up before the end of the year (about a week into Feb 2013) as I have heaps of words I have found in various reading material of mine. As the title says, SUPERCILIOUS is the word at the moment. It means: Behaving or looking as though one thinks one is superior to others. I like to remember it as a snob, but a much classier word. I found this in the movie 'Australian Rules' directed by Paul Goldman and I quite like it. Don't you? SUPER-SILLY-OUS is how you say it, use it sometime. My brother is always quite SUPERCILIOUS. But that’s just younger brothers for you!
