Celluliod

This word is one I found on an article in TIME magazine on their 100 most influential people. CELLULIOD means 1.A transparent flammable plastic made in sheets from camphor and nitrocellulose, formerly used for cinematographic film. 2.Motion pictures as a genre. In both cases it has a strong link to films. I am stumped as to how i can use this word in a sentance so i wwill give you the context in which it was written and then be off.

'It was so hypnotic, so thrilling, that I ended up watching 20 hours over a month, arranging life and appointments (for which I was invariably late) in such a way as to catch previously unseen segments of that CELLULIOD epic called a day'.
The above is in reference to Christian Marclay's 24 hour film The Clock. Bet he is happy, a bit of free advertising for his film.
