BELLWETHER

Hey! So i figured out something i wanted to be on my list of things to do before i die. It is a 365 day challenge of "A Word a Day" so it is here i will think of/look up a word in the dictionary and state it's meaning and use it a couple of times so it gets imprinted on my brain of the way in which it is meant to be used. So todays word is 'BELLWETHER' it means to be a leader. So there are many leaders in the world but i believe someone who is a real leader or as i like to say.. BELLWETHER! is someone who doesn't have power and isn't born with power but someone who likes to be different and set new trends because thats just who they are. :) So when i think of a BELLWETHER i think of someone like Albert Einstein or Thomas Edison and although these are people who are extreamly famous for their inventions and scientific workings, they had to think, persevear and work very hard in order to achieve what they wanted. It sounds like such a "posh rich girls tantrum" saying but when i want something i get something, not through my parents or family or friends (although the best things in life usually come from these people) but through myself. I have to work for it, i have to read the right books, talk to the right people, listen to advice, and do what seems right now - not in 3 years time. This is exactly what these people have done. WORKED HARD.

Please leave comments on words you think i should use as part of my 'word a day' challenge (I really don't know much words). No swearing or cuss words, i feel something more intellegent that extends peoples vocabulary is in order.
Maddy x
