Idiosyncratic

Okay, so here's a wierd one for you, (well, it was weird for me so it might be for you too). I was looking for large-ish words to put in my essay and I came across this one; IDIOSYNCRATIC, it means of or relating to idiosyncrasy, peculiar or individual. Which put in simpler terms, means a behaviour that is odd for a person or group to be doing. So if i slept on an roof with a owl (which i have never done, just to clear things up) that would be IDIOSYNCRATIC because not everyone sleeps on a roof with an olw. I actually find this word pretty cool and i think it is a wonderful new adition to my vocabulary, i can just imagine this one catching on in my home town, soon converstaions will run a little like this: "Oh my goodness, look at that''.. "WOW, that is so IDIOSYNCRATIC!". Now all you redaing this are probably thinking this girl is insane but i assure you i am not. I just like new words. :)
