Bellicose

BELLICOSE means someone or something is demonstrating agression and willingness to fight. When a dog barks at the postman he is BELLICOSE. I know in Australia, just as a joke some people say:
           '"What dawg? (pronounced dog)"'
and when they say this they are BELLICOSE or when some one says:
           '"You wanna go?"'
They are being BELLICOSE. I am not sure what agressive sayings/phrases they have in different countries but that is a few from Australia. I suppose these sayings are also a bit intimidating which could be part of the discourse surrounding the word BELLICOSE, i'm not quite sure. I'm going to try and be a bit BELLICOSE today, I just feel like it. :)
