SINEWS means: A piece of tough fibrous tissue uniting muscle to bone or bone to bone; a tendon or ligament. This is in third person and is a noun, however when you use it in first person it is a verb and means: To strengthen with or as if with SINEWS. I guess you could say that when two people go through a tough time together their friendship is strengthened with SINEWS (in a metaphorical sense, that or they break up and nnnever speak to each other again, but thats ssort of depressing so I would prefere not to speak of that. Be united with SINEWS!!
